Position Summary

The Human Resource Manager will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the organization’s personnel by planning, implementing, and evaluating employee relations and human resource policies, programs, and practices. This department will collaborate with the Chief Operating Officer.


  • Manage the recruitment and selection process
  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives that align with Spl.yt’s overall business strategy
  • Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of human capital
  • Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance
  • Maintain the pay plan and benefits program
  • Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs
  • Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management


  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or a related field is preferred
  • Proven working experience as an HR manager or in another HR executive position
  • People-oriented and driven by results
  • Knowledge of HR systems and databases
  • Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • In-depth knowledge of labor laws, HR best practices, and California Compliance
  • Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company
